Ari Barnett is a photographer from Detroit, Michigan currently based out of Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA in Photography, with a minor in Cultural Studies from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York in the spring of 2018. 

Barnett specializes in e-commerce, editorial and portrait photography. Barnett uses extensive amounts of research to fuel her personal work. Her work functions  as a social exploration of herself and the environments that she inhabits.

Barnett was a  2018 recipient of the Pratt Institute Circle Award For Outstanding Academic Achievement, the schools highest honor. Barnett was also a 2017 recipient of the Made in NYC Fellowship.
